Chapter II — The parents

Zeta & Rio.

Two Standard Aussies, about 3½ years old and 55 lb each. Zeta lives with us; Rio is the sire from down the road. Puppies are raised in our home on our rural property berry patches, three cats, and a swim hole out back — the life Zeta already knows. It’s the settled world Zeta already knows. Picture your dog on every adventure — kayaking, camping, ATVs, exploring, the swim hole. Zeta is my ride-or-die; she comes on all of it, and shows you what these puppies come from.

Zeta — Red Merle Australian Shepherd
The mother

Red Merle Australian Shepherd

Zeta

If I’m going, she’s coming.

She comes everywhere with me — errands, drives, camping, road trips, life at home on the property. She meets new people constantly and settles in within minutes. Wherever we show up, she’s the local favourite within five minutes.

At home she’s exceptional with cats — three of them, including her bonded orange friend she adopted at six months. She loves the water: a white-sand swim hole on the property, in the river every chance she gets. Not every Aussie loves water; she definitely does. She watches over the place like it’s her one true vocation. All Aussies need a job. Zeta has three. She’s not a pet. She’s family.

Red Tri Standard Australian Shepherd

Rio

He showed up for the fun part. Zeta is doing the rest.

Rio is the sire from just down the road — a purebred Red Tri Standard Aussie with excellent structure, full-tail genetics (his tail was removed only after a working injury), and the easy, roll-over-for-belly-rubs temperament that complements Zeta’s steadiness.

Chapter III — Her person

Me & her.

She’s my ride-or-die — passenger princess, copilot, whatever you want to call it. Kayaking, ATVs, exploring, camping, road trips: if I’m going, she’s coming.

Practical questions

Before you write.

How much?
Pricing depends on the individual puppy — we’ll discuss when we talk. No pressure in your first note.
Can we visit?
Yes, by arrangement once the litter is here. Send a note first so we can plan a calm visit.
Vet care & shots?
Both parents are healthy. Puppies are raised indoors with us; vet check and first-care details are shared when you inquire.
Pickup or delivery?
Pickup in the Southern Interior is typical. If you’re further out, ask — we’ll see what makes sense.
What should I write in my note?
Who you are, where you live, Aussie experience (if any), kids or other pets, and what a typical week with a dog would look like for you.

Chapter IV — Get in touch

Introduce
yourself.

If an Aussie from Zeta’s line sounds like your kind of dog, tell us who you are and what your life looks like. No scoring rubric — just a conversation. We read every note and reply within 24–48 hours.

A good fit looks like

  • An active home with time for an Australian Shepherd
  • Experience with the breed or a similar working dog (helpful, not required)
  • Room to grow — yard, rural property, or country life suits them best
  • Willingness to share who you are and what daily life looks like

Region

Southern Interior - British Columbia

Send a note through the form — that’s the only way to reach us about a puppy. Common questions are answered in practical questions just above.

Every note comes straight to me. Your details stay between us.

Chapter V — Our philosophy

What we’re
looking for.

Someone who wants a dog in the thick of life — not just in the backyard.

  1. Steady in real life

Years of life on our rural property — people, dogs, cats, camping, road trips, and the ordinary bustle of country life. Zeta’s calm isn’t theoretical — it’s tested daily.

  2. Raised in the world they’ll live in

Born in the home, not in a kennel. The litter stays indoors with us while they’re small — clean, warm, and close at hand. They come from a dam who models the life you might want: your dog on the kayak, in the truck, on the trail, at the swim hole. Not every pup will take to water; Aussies are funny that way. They meet kids, dogs, cats, vacuums, and familiar visitors before they ever leave us.

  3. The whole package

Red merle or red tri is possible — markings will be their own. What you’re really getting is Zeta: the dam we’d clone if we could. Small litter on purpose, from parents we trust.

Someone who wants a dog in the truck, on the trail, and in the middle of the fun — and will put in the work an Aussie deserves.
